Preliminary Task

We did not have any dialogue in our film, but here is the script we made for the benefit of the actress:

Walk into classroom

Stop in front of desk

Walk round back of desk to look at note

Sit down

Look exasperated

Look scared, you have heard something

Put head down

Look up in sudden shock

Focus Pull and Reverse Zoom Workshop

This workshop was a way of attempting shots we had never used before; we were not only able to learn the actual shots, but also the type of situation they would be used in, which would help us decide whether they were suitable for our production or not. 

Lighting Workshop

This workshop helped us to experiment with low-key lighting, as this was a convention we identified for the horror genre, and one we wanted to include because it alluded to the idea of an unknown threat.

Green Screen Workshop

We had a few difficulties with our green screen in that a purple outline of the person is seen. We intend to correct this in the future by ensuring that nothing surrounding the scene is green, as well as using the Chroma Keyer effect more adequately.
